Skyrim was fun but it wasn't the best that ever was. Especially since I think a lot of the Skyrim computer players have these rose tinted glasses on thinking Skyrim was something it really wasn't without realizing it mostly due to the amount of mods and things that radically altered the game. Other then that yeah you really can't compare. carrying as much as you want till you couldn't move worked for them but I was a EQ player and remember how much of a pain weight based loot was in a mmo. Keeping the usual you get whatever the mob was wearing would destroy the way MMO's loot tables work or we would just instantly fill up our bags with a bunch of randomly generated crap armor praying one of the dozen items was decent each kill.Īlso I am very glad they did away with the weight of gear thing that traditional TES games had. That said ESO and Skyrim are such different games with different purposes you really cannot compare them. Dragonborn was taken to a whole new level of blah.
I liked skyrim to an extent but I hated how "godlike" the main character really was. Totally different and neither is my actual favorite TES game anyways. In the short words, just make the game a massive multiplayer, instead of a single player, give implant respawner on what elements that other ways normal will be gone, and make the doungens as puplic, an dinstent for grps(with scaling as there is in eso now, and implant a drop system based on the nr of players / and the difficulty).Boom you have Skyrim as a mmorpg, and maybe the best that have ever been on the market.īut no, they *** it up good, and they let the money men run it all! Way better by a million, and yes they cut have made the games more or less as skyrim.
Which is hillarious from any non hardcore MMO view. Its all randomized, and best items you can get are sent to you by who knows who as a "weekly" reward. In TESO loot from monsters and chests is a complete joke. Best thing about skyrim is that it follows the old D&D rules about drop, that every enemy drops what is he wearing, not more not less usually.
What is the biggest difference for you between these two games, and which one is better in your opinion and why.įor me it is the loot.
